Abstract
This paper extends the 1D model discussed in Hudson & Harris (MIMS EPrint 2006.10) to 2D. A high resolution scheme is used to discretise two formulations of the 2D model and a variety of test cases are investigated to determine how the model behaves and the accuracy of the scheme.
